ANN REMUS Ann Remus passed away at the Emerson Personal Care Home on May 27, 2004.a She was born September 29, 1922. On October 22, 1949, she married Arthur Remus. They had two sons, Rodney and Barry. Ann was predeceased by her son Rodney in 1974; and three brothers, Alfred, Walter and August; and by one sister-in-law. Ann was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grndmother whose family meant a great deal. She belonged to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church. In early years she enjoyed teaching Sunday school. She was a member of the Emerson LCW for 25 years. Ann is survived by her husband Arthur; and son Barry and wife Terry; two granddaughters, Colleen (Richard) Remus Bodle of Orewa, New Zealand, and Michelle Remus of Duncan, BC; also by one brother Emile Schultz; and by three sisters-in-law. The family wishes to extend their appreciation for the kindness and care by all staff at the Emerson Personal Care Home. The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 31 at 2:00 p.m. from the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Emerson, MB, with Pastor Michael Cone officiating.
